John has been teaching elementary art for the past 6 years in the Ridgewood, Emerson, and River Vale school systems. He graduated cum laude from Marymount Manhattan College, with a degree in art and theatre.
Marisa's love of art was obvious from the time she could hold a crayon. She began doodling and started formal art classes at the age of four. She graduated The Pratt Institute in 2011 with a Bachelors in Fine Arts and a minor in Art History. During her time at school, and for some time after, she worked in the exhibitiions department at the American Museum of Natural History - fabricating items for special exhibits and maintaing items on permanent display. Idolizing artists like Van Gogh and Renior, she spent much of her own childhood recreating their works. Marisa has been working with children for over 10 years, so teaching for Mozart to Monet seemed second nature. She's looking forward to inspiring a whole new generation of artists!
