Art Classes
At Mozart to Monet, in our Music & Art Combonation Classes, We want children to feel that music and art go hand in hand. Artists like Van Gogh, Picasso, and Monet, Mozart, J.S. Bach and Vivaldi are among the greatest artists, and composers the world has ever known. One class we offer Mozart to Monet, for example, combines both music & art together. In this class, we touch both on art and the musical movements of the time. By playing the music of a specific time period, we encourage children to place themselves in the shoes of these great artists and pretend that they are standing on a balcony painting “Starry Night” right alongside Van Gogh, while listening to French musician Claude Debussy or Chopin! At Mozart to Monet, we want to fully immerse our children in all the arts have to offer.
On occasion we will invite accomplished Artists to come visit a class, and talk to, or play for the kids...it's quite inspiring!

Each class we will learn about a different artist and then make our own piece of art!
We will be creating collages, paintings, drawings and using new messy mediums like shaving cream & paint, glue, paper, feathers, clay you name it, to make our Modern Art!

Your child is never too young to learn about the great artists who have influenced the world in which we live! Children benefit from early exposure to the arts - not just the watered down version - the "real thing"!
We will focus on Impressionist Art and learn about the great works of Claude Monet. We will learn about his beautiful paintings including Water Lilies, The Japanese Bridge in Monet's Garden and Sunrise a fun & kid friendly manor.
This introductory class will give your child an excellent background to one of the most famous artist that have ever lived!
We will do fun step by step projects each week that will give your child a foundation for Fine Art!
Art: Playing with Picasso!

Art A-Z!: Art Through the Ages: Romanticism - Rock n Roll!

In this 6-week program students will learn the fundamentals of art, drawing, and creating!
Students will learn how to develop their eye so they can put on paper what they see in front of them. Each week we will focus on a different artist and explore their world. This will include looking at their work, listening to the pre-recorded music of the time and creating a work of art inspired by the artist. In these classes we will explore such artists as Monet, Walt Disney, Jackson Pollock, Keith Haring, Charles Shultz and Van Gogh. Students will get to learn how to work with mediums such as paints, pastel, pencil, and more!
